Dog Requirements & Policies
To keep everyone safe and happy, all participating dogs must meet the following:
Dog Requirements:
- Friendly and social with people + dogs
- Vaccination proof required
- Must sleep in a crate (Owner-provided)
- Must be leashed at all times except in designated dog areas
- No excessive aggression, reactivity, or resource guarding
Owner Responsibilities:
- Keeping your dog within control
- Cleaning up after your dog
- Bringing dog food, treats, bowls, & essentials
- Monitoring your dog's behavior and comfort
Dog Add-On Fee:
A small fee applies to cover additional cleaning, dog-safe gear, and dog-friendly campsite accommodations.

Day 1 - Arrival & Sniffs Everywhere
4:00 PM - Arrival & settle in
5:00 PM - Welcome circle + pup introductions

7:30 PM - Campfire + s'mores (Dog-safe area nearby)
10:00 PM - Slow-down time

Day 2 - Adventure Day (Dog Friendly!)

9:30 AM - Off-leash play in designated area (if allowed)
11:30 AM - Continue hike or return to camp (based on pet comfort)

We offer flexible payment plans for all retreats:
- Deposit required to reserve your spot
- Remaining balance split into monthly or bi-weekly payments
- Final payments due 30 days before the retreat

Yes - some! We welcome friendly small, medium, and medium-large dogs, but extra-large breeds are not permitted due to safety, space, and campsite limitations. This means we cannot accommodate giant breeds such as: Great Danes Mastiffs Saint Bernards Irish Wolfhounds Newfoundland Other XL/giant breeds These breeds are wonderful - we just can't safely support their space and crate requirements within our tents and campsite setup. General Guidelines: Dogs should be under approximately 90 lbs Must be friendly with people + dogs Must be manageable on leash Must sleep in a crate Must not show reactivity, aggression, or resource guarding This policy helps us keep the retreat comfortable, controlled, and enjoyable for all guests - including the pups who join us.

Booking Terms & Conditions:
To keep the retreat safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for all guests (and pups!) here are the key dog policies you agree to when booking:
- Dog Temperament
- Dogs must be friendly, non-reactive, and comfortable around unfamiliar people and dogs.
- No aggression, resource guarding, or biting history is allowed
- Size guidelines
- We welcome small, medium, and medium-large dogs.
- Extra-large breeds (Great Danes, Mastiffs, Saint Bernards, Irish Wolfhounds, Newfoundlands, etc.) are not permitted due to space and safety limitations.
- Dogs should generally be under 90 lbs.
- Vaccinations Required

- Proof must be submitted before the retreat.

- Dogs must stay on leash at all times unless in designated dog areas.

- This covers cleaning, dog-friendly accommodations, and additional safety considerations.

- All standard retreat refund policies apply. No refunds will be provided if:
- Your dog becomes unable to attend
- Your dog does not meet requirements
- Your dog must be removed due to behavior
