Our hikes and walks will remain open to everyone, whether you're a member or not.
We want nature and getting outside together to remain one of the easiest ways to experience Girlhood in the Woods.

🌲 How Membership Works
1. Become a Member
Join for just $12/month during our founding-member launch.
The first 15 members get this special rate.
After the first 15 memberships are filled, the membership will be $15/month.
2. Your Rate Is Locked In
One of the perks of joining early?
Your membership price is locked in as long as you remain a member.
So if you join at $12/month, you'll continue paying $12/month — even after the membership price increases to $15.
If you cancel your membership and decide to come back later, you'll rejoin at the current membership price.
3. Start Showing Up
Once you're a member, you can start enjoying your member benefits and joining us for regular GITWs events.
No complicated process.
Just show up, meet some girls, make memories, and have fun. 🤎
✨ What About Non-Members?
You don't have to become a member to be part of Girlhood in the Woods.
You can still:
- Follow along on social media
- Be part of the broader GITWs community
- Join our hikes and walks for free
- Come check out eligible events as a non-member
Non-members can attend regular member events for $5/event.
That way, you can experience GITWs before deciding whether membership is right for you.
🌸 What Are Specialty Events?
Some GITWs experiences will have an additional cost, even for members.
These are events where there are significant additional expenses such as:
- Event supplies
- Tickets or admission
- Food
- Rentals
- Special activities
- Venues
- Transportation
- Other third-party costs
We'll always clearly list any additional costs when an event is announced.
Your membership covers our regular community events — specialty experiences may have an additional fee.

No. Your membership includes free admission to our regular GITWs community events. Some specialty events may have an additional fee because of supplies, tickets, venues, food, or other direct costs.
Yes! Eligible regular events will be available to non-members for $5 per event. Hikes and walks remain free and open to everyone.
If you cancel and later decide to rejoin, you'll pay the membership price that is available at that time. Your previous locked-in rate will no longer apply.
Members earn points for participating in the GITWs community. Points can be redeemed for things like merchandise, discounts, and other member rewards. We'll share more details about the rewards program with members!
